Our ninth stop will be focusing on the dimension stone. Dimension stones are natural rocks that have been selected and cut to specific sizes and shapes. All of igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks are used in creating dimension stones. Some common types of rock used to make dimension stones are granite, limestone, travertine and quartz-based stone.
Dimension stones are often used for kitchen counter-top slabs, bathroom vanities, tiles, tombstones and monuments.
